About Zach Burck, MSEd LMHCA

I use psychodynamic therapy to deepen understanding of our thoughts, feelings, experiences, and relationships. This process can help you develop more self-awareness, heal old wounds, make conscious decisions, foster more meaningful relationships, and live a more fulfilling life.

I am also heavily influenced by object relations theory which proposes that our personality, relationships, and experiences are all shaped by our earliest childhood attachments. Maybe you find yourself pursuing a distant partner reminiscent of an unavailable parent. Or maybe you are highly critical of yourself and the insults you hurl are eerily similar to the jabs your mother used to take at you. Our earliest relationships created a powerful archetype for the ways in which we connect with others today.
